Social media and holiday shopping in 2013

Social media and holiday shopping

Clever Girls Collective released this infographic reporting on how women believe social media will influence their purchasing decisions in 2012. Findings include:

  • Trusted bloggers will be MORE influential than family and friends
  • Nearly a third will be influenced by special offers on Facebook
  • 88% or more purchased something because a blogger recommended it or a brand promoted it on social media.

How does that affect your marketing plans this holiday season? Better yet, perhaps you’d better renew your strategy for 2013.

Wax Marketing provides social media strategy and implementation for as little as $499 a month. Check out our services here.

  2. Every day more and more people like to purchase while they are chatting with their friends; so it would be like the real life, when you go shopping walking with your friends. Your article is great. Thanks.
