The line that divides hero from zero is drawn the moment someone becomes known for something. The hero part is, in part, due to a certain degree of idolisation and when the idol loses some of the former sheen many will quickly seek to distance themselves.
The pattern has been repeated for many decades and, with the advent of almost universal 24/7 online social media, is set to intensify.
I guess the thing to learn from this saga is … When you’re a golf pro, don’t let your balls ruin your life.

You know its pretty hard to have pitty for someone who has it all. But that’s what I have. Plenty of men have made his mistake. I’m sure he’ll overcome just like everyone else.
He shouldn’t let other play his balls.

I think they need to do everything possible to stimulate this area for growth and keep small businesses moving along. They are the life blood of our community.
